Woman Dies Weeks After Hit-and-Run Crash on North Main Street in Houston

49-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Main Street

Houston, Texas (November 26, 2020) – The 49-year-old woman who was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash earlier this month has died, according to police.

The accident happened around 6:35 p.m., November 9, in the 8600 block of North Main Street.

Police said the woman was in a wheelchair and was crossing the street when she was struck by a southbound SUV.

The SUV fled the scene after the accident.

The woman was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on Sunday, November 22. Her name has not been released.
