Michael Wallace ID’d as Man Hurt in Kilgore Pedestrian Accident at North Henderson Boulevard

Kilgore, Texas (January 1, 2019) – The man who was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Kilgore on Friday evening has been identified as Michael Wallace, 62, of Long Branch, according to the authorities.
The incident was reported at about 6 p.m. December 28 in the 200 block of North Henderson Boulevard at North Street.
Kilgore police said Wallace was trying to cross the intersection when he was hit by a northbound car.
Wallace was transported to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview. He remained hospitalized in fair condition on Monday, December 31.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene.
The Kilgore police are conducting an investigation into the crash.
