Woman Hit, Killed by Vehicle on US 75 in Denison

70-Year-Old Woman Killed in Denison Pedestrian Accident on U.S. Highway 75

Denison, Texas (July 11, 2022) – A 70-year-old woman was fatally hit by a vehicle on Sunday in Denison, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around midnight, July 10, on U.S. Highway 75.

Police said the woman had dementia, and her husband, a patient at Texoma Medical Center. She left on foot from the hospital and walked into traffic, where she was struck by a vehicle in the northbound lanes.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The driver of the vehicle pulled over and cooperated with the investigators and was not intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
