Woman Killed in Fort Worth Two-Vehicle Crash at Alliance Gateway Freeway and Alta Vista Road

Fort Worth, Texas (August 12, 2020) – One person was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler in Fort Worth, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash occurred around 10:30 p.m., August 11, at the intersection of Alliance Gateway Freeway (170) and Alta Vista Road.

Police said a female driver ran a red light at the intersection and struck an 18-wheeler.

The woman was airlifted to the hospital, where she later died. Her name has not been released.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
