Woman Injured in Tyler Pedestrian Accident near Troup Highway and Southeast Loop 323

Tyler, Texas (June 27, 2020) – A woman was injured early Saturday morning in a pedestrian accident in Tyler, according to officials.

The accident occurred around 1:06 a.m. near the intersection of Troup Highway and Southeast Loop 323.

Officials said the woman was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, near the intersection.

The woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The driver was uninjured and remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

No further details were provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
