San Antonio, Texas (November 25, 2022) – A woman was killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 3:00 p.m., November 23, in the 1300 block of SE Military Drive, near Mission Road and Roosevelt Avenue.

The 32-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. Her name has not been released. The children were uninjured in the crash. The man and the children were taken to the hospital to be checked out.

The driver, a 31-year-old man, was arrested and taken into custody and was charged with racing on a highway, causing a death, as well as endangering a child.

The police are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, pedestrian, 18-wheeler, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A. Gordon & Associates, we will act quickly to secure accident scene photos, interview witnesses, obtain police records, and secure other valuable evidence needed to win your case.  Call now for a free consultation.
