89-Year-Old Man Killed in Arlington Electric Bicycle Accident on New York Avenue near Lynn Creek Trail

Arlington, Texas (June 26, 2023) – According to the police, an 89-year-old man was killed Sunday morning in an electric bicycle accident in Arlington.

The deadly accident happened around 11:25 a.m., June 25, in the 6700 block of New York Avenue near Lynn Creek Trail.

Police the man was riding an electric bicycle across the street when he collided with a southbound pickup truck.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The pickup truck driver stopped and called 911.

No further details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
