Woman Killed in San Antonio 18-Wheeler Crash on Interstate 10 near Dominion Drive

San Antonio, Texas (May 22, 2020) – A woman was killed early Friday morning in a hit-and-run crash in San Antonio, police said.

The deadly crash happened around 6:00 a.m. on I-10 near Dominion Drive.

Police said an International model 18-wheeler rear-ended a Ford Fiesta driven by a woman on the highway.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The driver of the 18-wheeler fled the scene after the crash.

The police are looking for an 18-wheeler with front end damage. Anyone who has seen the 18-wheeler is asked to call 911.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 10W, near Dominion Drive.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the SAPD Traffic Investigations Unit at 201-207-7385.
