Woman Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident on West Loop 610 at Evergreen Street

Houston, Texas (February 26, 2020) – A woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. February 25, in the northbound lanes of West Loop 610 at Evergreen Street.

Police said the woman was riding a motorcycle on the highway when she rear-ended a car that was stopped for traffic.

The impact ejected the woman from the motorcycle. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The crash closed all the northbound lanes of the highway for several hours. The lanes were later reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
