Woman Killed, Multiple Injured in 6-Vehicle Crash on FM 2920 in North Harris County

Woman Killed and Multiple Injured in North Harris County Six-Vehicle Crash on FM 2920 Road near Covington Bridge Drive

Harris County, Texas – A woman was killed and multiple other people were injured on Monday in a six-vehicle crash in north Harris County, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

The fatal crash happened on January 8, in the 3050 block of FM 2920 Road near Covington Bridge Drive.

Deputies said an 18-wheeler was traveling westbound when it tried to avoid an accident. It jumped the median into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into the woman’s vehicle.

Six vehicles were involved in the crash.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

Several other people sustained injuries in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
