Zeina Haffanin Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on LBJ Freeway in Dallas

Zeina Haffanin ID’d as 7-Year-Old Girl Killed in Dallas Crash on LBJ Freeway

Dallas, Texas (October 19, 2023) – Dallas police have identified the 7-year-old girl who died in a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning in Dallas as Zeina Haffanin.

The deadly crash happened at around 12:10 a.m. Monday, October 16, in the 7600 block of LBJ Freeway.

Dallas police said Haffanin was walking on the eastbound service road along LBJ Freeway when she was hit by a 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade whose driver fled the scene.

Moments later, Haffanin was struck by a second vehicle, but the driver stopped and called the authorities.

Haffanin died in the crash.

Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver. The suspect’s SUV might have damage to the right front, including a missing right headlight.
