1 Injured in Interstate 40 Crash
Potter County, Texas (May 22, 2019) – A person was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a traffic accident involving a pair of semi-truck near the Potter and Carson County line, according to a local news source.
The crash happened just after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 on Interstate 40.
Details regarding what led to the collision were not immediately released.
One person was airlifted to an Amarillo hospital with life-threatening injuries. The name and current condition of the patient remained unknown.
Eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 were shut down following the crash and traffic was diverted onto the service road.
