Man Killed, 3 Hospitalized after East Austin Multi-Vehicle Crash at East 7th Street and Springdale Road
Austin, Texas (February 28, 2019) – One person was killed Wednesday night in a multi-vehicle crash that left three other people hospitalized at an East Austin intersection, officials said.
The fatal crash took place at about 10:50 p.m. February 27, at the intersection of East 7th Street and Springdale Road.
Details of how the collision occurred were not immediately available.
Authorities said five people were involved in the collision. A man in his 20s was declared dead at the scene.
Three others were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The fifth person declined hospitalization.
The crash remains under investigation.
