1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at Koenigheim Street and Twohig Avenue in San Angelo

One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Koenigheim Street and Twohig Avenue

San Angelo, Texas (July 29, 2022) – According to the authorities, one person was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo.

The crash happened around 11:15 a.m., at the intersection of South Koenigheim Street and West Twohig Avenue.

Authorities said a white Ford Fusion was traveling northbound on Koenigheim Street while a dark gray Toyota 4Runner was heading eastbound on Twohig Avenue.

The driver of the 4Runner failed to yield the right of way to the Ford Fusion, and the vehicles collided at the intersection.

The 4Runner continued across the median of Twohig and struck a stop sign and a stopped car in the street.

The 4Runner driver was taken to Shannon Medical Center with minor injuries and was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

The crash remains under investigation.
