One Hospitalized after Harker Heights Collision on Veterans Memorial Boulevard

Harker Heights, Texas (October 3, 2022) – A person was injured in a Sunday morning car collision in Harker Heights, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported at about 9:00 a.m. Sunday, October 2, in the 400 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

As per the local news report, a tan Ford Focus and another vehicle were involved in the crash. Witnesses said one of the vehicles was speeding prior to the collision.

Following the crash, the Focus overturned and landed upside down in the ditch on the south side of Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated a person who was trapped inside the Focus. The medics moved the victim into an ambulance. The name of the patient and the extent of their injuries were not available.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
