Two Injured in Denton County Plane Crash on FM 407 near Bill Cook Road

Denton County, Texas (June 5, 2021) – Two people were injured Friday evening in a single-engine plane crash in Denton County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened just before 6:30 p.m., June 4, on FM 407 near Bill Cook Road just west of Justin.

Authorities said a Piper 28-40 Cherokee lost power while trying to land at a private airfield and crashed into trees.

The pilot and a passenger were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other details were provided.

The FAA is investigating the crash.
