1 Injured in DWI Crash on Airline Drive in Houston; One Arrested

One Injured in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Airline Drive and Little York Road; One Arrested

Houston, Texas (May 1, 2022) – One person was injured in a DWI crash early Sunday morning in Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened just before 3:00 a.m., in the 7500 block of Airline Drive at Little York Road.

Police said an HPD officer was on their way to a call and was stopped at a traffic light in the northbound lanes of Airline Drive when a northbound car crashed into their cruiser and an SUV.

The SUV driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The officer was uninjured in the crash.

The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were uninjured in the crash, but the driver was taken into custody for suspected DWI.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
