Adam Garcia, Brittney Garcia, and Child Hospitalized after Victoria Car Accident on Houston Highway near Hospital Drive

Victoria, Texas (June 1, 2019) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Victoria, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. May 31, on Houston Highway near Hospital Drive.

Police said Adam Garcia was driving westbound in the inside lane of the highway when his car was hit by a Ford Escape driven by 51-year-old John Crye, of Victoria, which was attempting to turn left off Hospital Drive onto eastbound Houston Highway.

The force of the impact caused the Highlander to roll over before it landed right-side up.

Adam and Brittney Garcia, both 28, and a child were taken to Citizens Medical Center with minor injuries.

Crye was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
