1 Injured In Officer-Involved Crash at Fuqua and Palmhill Streets in Houston

One Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash at Fuqua Street and Palmhill Street

Houston, Texas (March 7, 2021) – One person was injured Saturday night in an officer-involved crash in southeast Houston, according to authorities.

The crash occurred around 10:13 p.m., March 6, in the 10000 block of Palmhill Street at the intersection of Fuqua Street.

Police said a red pickup truck was traveling northbound when it ran a red light at the intersection and was hit by a Houston police officer who was driving a marked unit eastbound on Fuqua Street.

The pickup driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The officer was uninjured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
