1 Killed, 1 Critically Injured in Head-On Crash on Grand Parkway in Spring

One Killed and One Critically Injured in Spring Multi-Vehicle Crash on Grand Parkway

Spring, Texas (September 6, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was critically injured Saturday morning in a wrong-way crash in Spring, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash happened at about 3:30 a.m., September 5, on the Grand Parkway, near the Riley Fuzzel exit.

DPS said a white SUV was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when it crashed head-on into another vehicle. Moments later, a FedEx 18-wheeler crashed into both vehicles

The SUV driver was taken to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands in critical condition.

The driver of the other car was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The condition of the FedEx driver was not disclosed.

The crash remains under investigation.
