Corey Sparkman Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on FM 105 in Orange County

Corey Sparkman Killed in Orange County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 105 near Burnet Street

Orange County, Texas (December 15, 2021) – One person was killed and another was injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Orange County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened shortly before 1:00 p.m., December 14, on FM 105 near Burnet Street.

DPS said a 2021 Ford pickup was traveling northbound on the highway when a 2018 Honda passenger car pulled out of a driveway into its path.

The Ford then hit the Honda on its left side.

The Ford driver, a North Carolina native, was taken to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth for treatment.

The Honda driver, Corey Sparkman, 26, of Beaumont, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
