Allie Bindi Killed in Wichita Falls Two-Vehicle Crash on Central Freeway at Highway 287

Wichita Falls, Texas (June 10, 2020) – The man who was killed Monday afternoon in a head-on collision that left another person injured in Wichita Falls has been identified as 35-year-old Allie Bindi from California, according to authorities.

The fatal crash was reported at about 12:21 p.m. on June 8, at Central Freeway and Highway 287.

Police said Bindi was driving a black Ford Fiesta northbound in a southbound lane of Highway 287 when he crashed head-on into a southbound Cream Ford Edge.

Bindi was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the Ford Edge, a Wichita Falls resident, was taken to the hospital with major but non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no passengers in both vehicles.

The crash remains under investigation.
