Collin County, Texas (January 17, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Collin County, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 8:00 p.m., January 13, at the intersection of State Highway 78 and County Road 825.

DPS said a small vehicle was traveling on County Road 825 while an 18-wheeler was traveling northbound on State Highway 78.

The vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into the 18-wheeler.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws, or statutes which were violated.
