One Killed and One Critically Injured in SW Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 2244

Austin, Texas (August 19, 2023) – One person was killed, and another was critically injured Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Southwest Austin, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 9:23 p.m., August 18, in the 7000 block of FM 2244 Road, off Bee Caves Road.

According to the report, two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was killed in the crash. Another person was taken to South Austin Medical Center in critical condition.

Bee Caves Road was closed after the crash.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
