55-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Hit-and-Run Crash on Martin Luther King Boulevard

Houston, Texas (August 21, 2023) – A 55-year-old man was killed Saturday evening in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 8:00 p.m., August 19, in the 9400 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Authorities said the man was on or near the sidewalk when he was hit by a southbound white Chevrolet Impala. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Impala driver reportedly removed the temporary license plate from the vehicle and fled the scene in another unknown vehicle.
