23-Year-Old Man Killed in Cherokee County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 84

Cherokee County, Texas – One person was killed and another was injured Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash in Cherokee County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened just after 8:00 p.m., December 12, on US Highway 84 near Maydelle.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

A 23-year-old Jacksonville man was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
