1 Killed, 1 Injured in DWI Crash on University Hills Boulevard in Dallas

Man Killed, Woman Injured in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on University Hills Boulevard

Dallas, Texas – A man was killed and a woman was severely injured Friday night in a two-vehicle crash involving a suspected intoxicated driver in southern Dallas, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 7:00 p.m., December 8, in the 5900 block of University Hills Boulevard.

Police said a woman and a man were traveling southbound and began turning left into a shopping center parking lot when they were struck by the suspected intoxicated driver, who was heading northbound at a high rate of speed.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released. The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The suspected intoxicated driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition and will be charged with Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication Assault.

The crash remains under investigation.
