Gi Lee Among Two Killed in Terrell County Collision on Highway 90

Terrell County, Texas (August 31, 2019) – Gi S. Lee, 47, of British Columbia, was among two people killed in a collision between two semi-trucks early Tuesday morning in Terrell County, according to a local news source.

The collision took place at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, on Highway 90 east of Dryden.

Police said a 2020 International truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer was traveling westbound on the highway when the driver failed to maintain a single lane and sideswiped and oncoming 2016 Freightliner towing a semi-trailer.

The Freightliner then overturned and collided with a westbound 2008 Chevy Denali.

Lee, who was the driver of the Freightliner, and a passenger in the big rig were both killed in the crash.

The driver and passenger in the International were not injured.

The driver of the Chevy sustained minor injuries while ihs passenger had incapacitating injuries.

The crash remained under investigation.
