One Killed and One Injured in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 183

Austin, Texas – One person was killed and another was injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Austin near the Pilot Knob neighborhood, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash occurred around 2:40 a.m., on South Highway 183 near Planeview Drive.

According to the report, two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was killed in the crash.

Another person was injured in the crash.

The crash closed both directions of the highway at FM 812 for several hours but has since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
