One Killed and One Injured in Bexar County Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 211 at Highway 16

1 Killed, 1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 211 at Hwy 16 in Bexar County

Bexar County, Texas – One person was killed and another was injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Bexar County, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 8:11 a.m., at the intersection of State Highway 211 and Highway 16.

Deputies said a dump truck lost control while making a left turn onto southbound SH 211 from northbound Highway 16 and collided with a Chevy Silverado pickup truck.

The Silverado driver, a man, was killed in the crash.

The dump truck driver flipped onto its side after the collision. The driver was partially ejected and pinned in his vehicle. He was freed and was taken to the hospital with head trauma.

The roads were wet at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
