Brenham, Texas – According to the Texas DPS, one person was killed and several others were injured after a stolen 18-wheeler crashed into a Texas DPS office on Friday in Brenham.

The crash happened around 10:41 a.m., at the Brenham DPS Office.

DPS said the 18-wheeler intentionally crashed into the Brenham DPS Office.

One person was killed in the crash. Two others were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Three others were taken to the hospital where they were treated and released. Eight people were treated at the scene.

The driver of the 18-wheeler, Clenard Park, 42, from Chappell Hill, was arrested at the scene. It was reported that he had been denied a commercial driver’s license at the DPS office on Thursday.

An investigation is underway.
