One Killed, Two Injured in Travis County Crash on North State Highway 130

Travis County, Texas (July 7, 2023) – One person was killed and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Travis County, authorities said.

The deadly crash happened at around 1:20 a.m. near the 10100 block of North State Highway 130.

According to the authorities, two vehicles were involved in the crash. Details on what led up to the crash at this time are unknown, but one of the involved vehicles went 100 to 200 feet down an embankment after the collision.

One person was declared dead at the scene, and two other patients were transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

Police temporarily closed State Highway 130 near FM 973, just south of Manor, as they investigated the crash.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
