One Killed in Carrollton Car Crash on Sandy Lake Road at President George Bush Turnpike Frontage Road

Carrollton, Texas (September 28, 2019) – One person was killed Friday night in an alleged hit-and-run crash in Carrollton, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred at about 11:30 p.m. September 27, in the 1900 block of Sandy Lake Road, on the President George Bush Turnpike frontage road.

Authorities said an SUV was exiting PGBT when it hit another vehicle at Sandy Lake Road.

Three people in the SUV, including the driver, fled the scene on foot.

One person had to be extricated from the other vehicle. The victim was taken to the hospital where they were declared dead.

Police are looking for the three suspects.

The crash remains under investigation.
