1-Year-Old Child Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident near 54th and Avenue B

Lubbock, Texas (September 22, 2023) – A 1-year-old child was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Lubbock, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 12:00 p.m., September 21, near 54th and Avenue B.

Police said the child was taken to Covenant Women’s and Children after being hit by a vehicle, where they were later pronounced dead. Their identity has not been released.

No additional information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
