Deputy Injured in Pasadena Car Crash on Southbelt near Red Bluff Road

Pasadena, Texas (October 30, 2023) – A Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s deputy was injured Saturday night in a car crash in Pasadena, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 11:00 p.m., October 28, on Southbelt near Red Bluff Road.

Authorities said the deputy was stopped because several lawn chairs were blocking traffic when their vehicle was hit by another driver.

The deputy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries where they were treated and released.

The driver who hit the deputy had a child inside, but both are expected to be OK.

The crash remains under investigation.
