Man Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on Old Spanish Trail in Houston

Man Hospitalized after Houston Crash on Old Spanish Trail near South Freeway

Houston, Texas (January 5, 2023) – A man was hospitalized after a crash involving a Houston police vehicle on Sunday night in Houston, according to a local news source.

The three-car crash took place at around 11:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1 on Old Spanish Trail near the South Freeway.

As per the report, the patrol car was turning onto Allegheny Street from Old Spanish Trail when a black car hit the patrol unit on the passenger side. The patrol car was then pushed into a Dodge van that was stopped at a stop sign.

The man driving the black vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. Some of the passengers in the black vehicle complained of injuries, but were not hospitalized. The officer was not injured.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
