Person Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Lamar Boulevard

Austin, Texas (December 31, 2022) – One person was killed on Thursday in a pedestrian accident in Austin, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:49 p.m., December 22, in the 4100 block of S Lamar Boulevard.

Police said a person was struck by an SUV on the roadway.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where they later died. Their identity has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
