David Jenkins Seriously Injured in Hewitt Motorcycle Crash on Hewitt Road

Hewitt, Texas (July 4, 2022) – The motorcyclist who was injured last month in a crash with an SUV in Hewitt has been identified as David Jenkins, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on Monday, June 13, on Hewitt Road.

Authorities said Jenkins was riding his motorcycle when an SUV did not see him and hit him.

The force of the impact sent him into the air, and he landed on the pavement. He was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest ICU with multiple injuries, including a ruptured spleen and a collapsed lung.

A GoFundMe has been set up to cover Jenkin’s multiple surgeries, hospital stay, and other expenses.

An investigation is underway.
