One Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on I-45 North Freeway

Houston, Texas (June 8, 2021) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just after 11:00 a.m., June 7 on the Interstate 45 North Freeway.

Police said an SUV struck an 18-wheeler on the freeway.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed the inbound lanes of the freeway.

Motorists were diverted off the freeway at the Aldine Bender exit.

The inbound lanes have since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
