One Killed in Hurst Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 10

Hurst, Texas (July 5, 2019) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident Thursday afternoon in Hurst, according to the police.

The accident happened at about 12:24 p.m. July 4, on State Highway 10.

Police said the driver of a green Ford F150 pick-up truck allegedly experienced vehicle problems and was stopped on the westbound outside lane.

According to witnesses, the driver exited his vehicle and walked around to the rear of the truck, when he was hit by a Nissan Pathfinder driven by 29-year-old Christopher Thompson.

The Ford driver was killed in the accident.

Thompson was arrested for driving with a suspended license and drug paraphernalia charges.

An investigation is underway.
