Woman Seriously Injured in Longview Two-Vehicle Crash on George Richey Road at McCann Road

Longview, Texas (October 20, 2021) – A woman was seriously injured on Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in Longview, according to the police.

The crash happened at the intersection of George Richey Road and McCann Road.

Police said a woman was driving an SUV southbound on McCann Road while a log truck was traveling westbound on George Richey Road.

The woman failed to yield the right-of-way, and the SUV was struck by the log truck.

The SUV driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The log truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed the westbound lanes of George Richey Road. 

The police are investigating the crash.
