One Seriously Injured in Austin Scooter Crash at Riverside Drive and Congress Avenue

Austin, Texas (September 19, 2022) – One person was seriously injured Sunday evening in a scooter accident in Austin, according to officials.

The accident was reported around 8:06 p.m., September 18, at the intersection of East Riverside Drive and South Congress Avenue.

Officials said a scooter and a vehicle collided at the intersection.

An adult was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

No other information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
