Adkins, Texas (November 6, 2020) – A 17-year-old girl was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Adkins, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened just before 8:00 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of US Highway 87 near Oak Park Road.

Authorities said the crash involved a pickup truck and a compact car.

A 17-year-old girl was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

The crash closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 87.
