2 Children Hospitalized after Bus Crash on Highway 190 in Kempner

Two Children Injured in Kempner Crash on U.S. Highway 190

Kempner, Texas (September 23, 2022) – Two children were hospitalized following a traffic collision involving a Lampasas ISD school bus in Kempner on Thursday afternoon, according to a local news source.

The crash happened at around 4:05 p.m. Thursday, September 22, in the 12000 block of U.S. Highway 190.

As per the local news source, a Lampasas Independent School District bus and two large commercial vehicles were involved in the collision.

Twenty-five children were on board the school bus at the time of the accident. Two of them were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, while the remaining children were evaluated by paramedics.

The crash remains under investigation by College Station Police Department.
