2 Children Injured in Crash on Bastrop Highway in Austin

Two Children Injured in East Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on Bastrop Highway near Airport Boulevard

Austin, Texas – Two children were seriously injured Monday evening in a two-vehicle crash in East Austin, according to officials.

The crash happened around 7:20 p.m., February 12, at the 248-260 Bastrop Highway southbound near Airport Boulevard. 

Officials said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

Two children were taken to Dell Children’s, one with critical life-threatening injuries and the other with potentially serious injuries.

An adult was evaluated by medics but refused transport.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
