Two Injured in Bellmead Two-Vehicle Crash on I-35

Bellmead, Texas (July 6, 2019) – Two people were injured in a DUI crash early Friday morning in Bellmead, according to a local news source.

The collision took place around 7:30 a.m. July 5, on northbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 338.

DPS said a Dodge van was driving erratically when they rear-ended a Ford SUV.

The SUV driver and a passenger were taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco for treatment.

The Dodge driver was found to be intoxicated and will be charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.

An investigation is ongoing.
