Darlena Williams, Chron Taylor Injured in Lubbock Motorcycle Accident at 50th Street and Avenue D

Lubbock, Texas (July 4, 2022) – Three people were injured early Sunday morning in a crash between a motorcycle and an SUV in Lubbock, according to the Lubbock Police Department.

The collision happened at around 2:00 a.m. Sunday, July 3 in the area of 50th Street and Avenue D.

Police said Craig Ross, 52, was riding his motorcycle near the 400 block of 50th Street when, for an unknown reason, he collided with an SUV driven by Darlena Williams, 31.

Ross was taken to Covenant Medical Center with major injuries. Williams and his passenger, Chron Taylor, 29, sustained minor injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
