One Killed in Greenville 18-Wheeler Crash on Interstate 30

Greenville, Texas (June 1, 2021) – One person was killed Saturday morning in an 18-wheeler crash in Greenville, according to the Texas Highway Patrol.

The fatal crash happened shortly before 5:00 a.m., May 29, on Interstate 30 near Exit 95.

Texas Highway Patrol said a white Chevy Malibu turned in front of an 18-wheeler, resulting in a collision.

The impact caused the Malibu to catch fire. The Malibu driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 18-wheeler driver sustained no major injuries in the crash.

Other vehicles struck the crash debris. No one in those vehicles was injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
