Man Hit, Killed by Vehicle at Vaughn Boulevard and Avenue H in Fort Worth

74-Year-Old Man Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident at Vaughn Boulevard and Avenue H

Fort Worth, Texas (August 13, 2022) – A male pedestrian died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Friday night in Fort Worth, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

The deadly crash happened at around 9:50 p.m. Friday, August 12 at the interstation of Vaughn Boulevard and Avenue H.

Police said the pedestrian, a 74-year-old man, was lawfully crossing Vaughn Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle that was heading northbound on Vaughn Boulevard.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The involved driver fled the scene.

Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating the crash.
