Houston, Texas (October 4, 2021) – According to the authorities, two people, including a Harris County Precinct 7 deputy constable, were injured Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Houston.

The crash happened just before 9:30 a.m., October 3, at the intersection of Beltway 8 feeder road and Westheimer Road.

Authorities said the deputy was driving through the intersection when the cruiser was hit by another vehicle.

The deputy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening head injuries.

A passenger in the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with a leg injury.

No other details were available

The authorities are investigating the crash.
